For sarahs birthday we headed to main st in placerville, old hangtown
We started out at the yummy z-pie
Gourmet pot pies
I chose a rosemary lamb pot pie
So delicious the meat was so tender it was falling apart as i melted away!!
They also have gourmet root beers!!

Next up we hit winterhill
Where you can sample gourmet organic extra virgin olive oils infused with such like jalapeno, blood orange, garlic, persian lime, etc etc they just came out with their 2012 flavors as well as balsamic vinegar and WHITE balsamic vinegar!!

Salami made the old style italian way from mario batalis father!!!
The delice de bourgogne was my favorite
Strong brie flavor and so soft it melted before i could stop drooling!!

That sounds like a pretty fantastic birthday to me! Love that crust on that pot pie, it looks so flaky and beautiful! Ya they had a chocolate treat with a burst of blood orange made with their blood orange olive oil and a jalapeno pecan clusters made with the jalapeno olive oil
Both of which sounded amazing!
